Our Story
The Sacred Grounds Organic Fairtrade brand was launched in May 2004, coming out of their experience over the previous years involved in the roasting of organic coffee under Wild Bean brand since 1997.
From the outset Sacred Grounds has sought to blend our love of coffee with our desire for a more ethical and equitable world. As a result, all Sacred Grounds products are ethical, socially responsible and, where possible, have a limited effect on the environment.
As an organisation, we are strong supporters of both the Fair Trade and Organic movements and we are proud to be involved in the equitable and sustainable doctrines that each represent.
Sacred Grounds is certified Organic by NASAA (National Association for Sustainable Agriculture) and ACO (Australian Certified Organic) and is licensed by FAIRTRADE Labelling Australia and New Zealand to process and sell products bearing FAIRTRADE Label.
Our Belief
As global citizens, we can have an impact on the world, whether its people or its environment. We all want to make a difference, but it’s often overwhelming for individuals to see how.
Sacred Grounds was established to provide, in a small way, the opportunity to effect change and make a difference without compromising the quality of our lifestyle.
At Sacred Grounds we do not see Fair Trade or organic as a marketing position, but as an obvious choice towards a more equitable and sustainable future.
